GIS-type electrical substations have a gas-insulated system, making them up to six times more compact than traditional substations, ideal for limited spaces or harsh climates. These are the conditions presented by the project due to its wide geographic scope, which is constructing and equipping five of these substations as part of its Electrical Transmission System (STE).
