Techint, the Argentine multinational, is in charge of the construction work for the pipeline and pumping stations for the project. Some of the equipment used in these works is either semi-new or new and was donated to the José Gutiérrez de la Fuente Polytechnic High School in Iquique and the Robert Johnson Methodist School in Alto Hospicio.
